This is the fifth single malt “Tamba”, aged in Mizunara barrels, which are attracting worldwide attention as Japanese oak. Fruity aromas reminiscent of green apple and citrus, with woody and spicy notes derived from Mizunara.

Tasting notes
It’s been 7 years since Kizakura started whisky production, and this is unique to Japanese culture. One of the key malt is aged for 5 years in Tamba Distillery, and the other one is aged in Mizunara barrels. After those malts are vatted, it’s aged in Mizunara barrels again.
