Luckily, we have found something unique and producing tasty Ale type beer with the skills and commitment developed through brewing sake since 1995.

Luckily, our beer was born in Fushimi、Kyoto, which is historically famous for abundant spring water.
We have a vastly experienced master beer brewer and his excellent team.

Luckily, the brand “Lucky Brew” has been launched by a coincidence of all the "lucky"s.

“Fushimi-gura” Brewery

It is our new beer brewery and was opened in August 2016.
We have the latest equipment here, and there is a visitor course in this facility.
The capacity of production in “Fushimi-gura” is 10 times larger than that in our previous facility.
So, we’re honored that we sufficiently be able to supply craft beers to increasing market demands!

“Fushimizu” water

Fushimi is famous region for sake brewing.
The reason is that pure spring water has been available historically.

It contains Potassium and Calcium in good balance.
Fushimizu containing well balanced Potassium and Calcium makes our beer mild and smooth.

Intentionally we use gentle filtration.

Most of Japanese beer is Lager type beer, which is fresh and dry with clear finish. However, we have intended to produce something unique products and to introduce them for Japanese beer market. When we started craft beer business, we decided to use gentle filtration so that some cloudiness remains and it brings distinctive “Umami” tastes and flavors to the beer.

Brewed with Saaz hop, Yamadanishiki (Sake rice), Yuzu and Japanese pepper. Light body with spicy and citrus aroma. It is refreshing taste!

Try with meat dishes! Well-balanced with modest bitterness and refreshing citrus flavor from Citra hops. Smooth and lighter aftertaste with a short finish.

Brewed with roasted malts, which brings red color and rich malty taste. Fruity aroma like tropical fruits comes from mosaic hops. Chicken dishes especially Japanese style fried Chicken called “Karaage” matches well with this new friend!
